About Us

I have always been a big fan of classic cars and trucks.  I always enjoyed working on one of the family vehicles with my dad growing up.  I remember making runs to the parts store, hardware store and junkyard in the old 1966 Chevy pickup with a straight 6 and a three on the tree.  I worked hard and saved my money as a kid and was able to buy my first car by the age of 13.  It was the 1968 Pontiac Firebird that I still have today.  We prepped it for paint and painted it in the garage. I learned hands on how to fix everything on a vehicle with help from my dad when I would get stuck.

It was this interest in cars that fueled my desire to learn why things worked the way they did and inspired me to go to school for mechanical engineering.  Since school, my career has included manufacturing engineering, project management and reliability engineering where I have picked up additional skills that have prepared me to help improve the quality and reliability of aftermarket car parts.

I have consistently driven vehicles on a daily basis that are at least 15 years old with my trusty fall back being the 1968 Firebird.  A few years ago, I realized that I tended to work on maintenance and repairs more on my daily drivers than the older more fun vehicles that I owned.  I did a quick financial comparison and realized that if I sold the newer vehicle and put the money into my Firebird, that I could have all the reliability and creature comforts I wanted.

I did just that by installing Air Conditioning, a 6 speed manual transmission, an electric fan for better cooling, Leather interior with heated seats and a bluetooth stereo with plenty of power to make any song sound good.  I have put a lot of miles on it since then driving in style and comfort in a car that never depreciates.  I now am working to help others enjoy the benefits of driving a classic car or truck on a daily basis.
